OHLGS – Tuesday December 23, 2019: The Office of the Head of the Local Government Service has ended the year with a staff durbar which created the opportunity for staff to socialize, access their performance of work for the year 2019 and to have an outlook for the coming year.
The Head of Service, Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur in a brief statement, appreciated staff for the demonstration of hard work and team spirit during the past year which ensured the achievement of the Service’ performance targets for 2019. He also praised the directors and heads of units for their professionalism which he believed was the primary factor that encouraged the entire staff to give off their best. He encouraged those who were not up to speed in terms of job performance to measure up and improve upon their performance in the coming year. He ended with a note to staff to be cautious during the festive season and to take very good care of themselves.
At the open forum session, staff expressed their profound gratitude to the Head of Service and other colleagues for making year 2019 a success. Other issues considered critical for the progress of the office was also deliberated upon.
