Accra – Friday, December 23, 2022: The Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) has organised an end of year durbar for staff today.
This was for management to express their appreciation to staff for their dedication towards the achievements chalked in the year under review.
In a brief remark, the Head of Service Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur, congratulated staff for their tremendous contribution towards work for improved service delivery. He urged staff to continue in same spirit in the ensuing year. Dr. Arthur assured that management will continue to put in place new measures for the smooth running of the Service subsequently.
The stafff used the platform to seek clarification on some decisions and measures introduced by management. The free open forum revealed some stale working conditions which staff pleaded with management to look into. Also, staff used the opportunity to express their gratitude to management for the explanations on some issues of concern in Service.
In his concluding remarks, the Head of Service said that management is concerned about the issues raised. He therefore assure that the OHLGS is working hard to address those issues.
Present at the staff durbar were the management members of the OHLGS, staff and the invited CLOGSAG band.
