The Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) after a successful monitoring and verification exercise of the 2023 Local Government Service Performance Contract of all the 16 Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) and the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs), hereby publish the final report as per the attached.
The OHLGS extends its heartfelt gratitude to the United State Agency for International Development (USAID) and CARE International in Ghana for their invaluable funding support towards this exercise. The OHLGS also is grateful to the Directors and support staff of the OHLGS for their time and expertise in supporting the monitoring and verification exercise for the determination of the performance of the RCCs and MMDAs.
The OHLGS is also thankful to the Honourable Regional Ministers (RMs) and Regional Coordinating Directors (RCDs) as well as Honourable Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) and the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Coordinating Directors (MMDCDs) for their commitment and support towards meeting the targets of the 2023 Performance Contract.
The OHLGS is further appreciative of the positive cooperation, responses and reception accorded the teams by all staff during the entire process. We look forward to working together to continuously improve on our service delivery mandate for the good of all citizens.
