Accra – Friday September 3, 2021: The Office of the Head of Local Government Service (OHLGS) organised a send-off ceremony to bid farewell to the 2020/2021 batch of fifteen (15) National Service Persons. The event was attended by the Head of Local Government Service, Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur, the Chief Director, Directors and other Staff of the OHLGS.
The brief ceremony featured presentation sessions where the service persons took turns to share the experiences they have gained over the period; the challenges they encountered and made recommendations for the consideration of management. The spokesperson for the 2020/2021 batch of service persons, Miss Ursla Abanga appreciated the leadership and staff for the opportunity to learn and gain experience for the world of work. The service persons presented a shredder as a token to the office.
The Head of Service praised the service persons for the hard work and commitment exhibited throughout the period. He admonished them to remain disciplined, read a lot while at home awaiting job opportunity and not to shy away from little beginnings. He wished them well in their future endeavours.
