The Ministry, through the Human Trafficking Secretariat, is mandated to compile Ghana’s Annual Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Report as part of national obligations toward the global fight against human trafficking. This report plays a critical role in determining the country’s ranking on the U.S. Department of State TIP Tier System.
The Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) on behave of the Human Trafficking Secretariat under the Ministry is requesting all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) to complete the 2025 TIP Template (by clicking on the link beside, or click on the link below to download the file).
All Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) are kindly requested to inform their respective MMDAs to notify officers responsible for human trafficking programme to download the word template and ensure that they complete all applicable tabs within the template.
Please submit the completed template to the Human Trafficking Secretariat via lokko.frederick@mogcsp.gov.gh and copy OHLGS via ohlgs@lgs.gov.gh and albert.amoah@lgs.gov.gh. The deadline for submission of the completed template is Friday, 13th February 2026.
