Accra – Thusday, February 5, 2021: The 2-day management retreat of the Office of the Head of Local Government Service (OHLGS) which commenced on Thursday February 4, 2021 has ended.
On the second and final day of the retreat, outcomes and observations on the evaluation report of the 2020 Performance Contract signed between the Head of Service and of Directors and Heads of units were presented and discussed. The Directors and Unit heads took turns to share their Key Performance Areas (KPAs) and corresponding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the 2021 Performance Contract. Sector wide issues considered critical for the progress of the Service were also discussed.
In a remark to close the programme, the Head of Service remarked that COVID-19 affected the overall implementation of activities and programmes and this he said was evident in the 2020 evaluation report. He was however hopeful that 2021 presents opportunity for greater achievement.
