In line with the Ghana Accelerated Action Plan Against Child Labour, it is imperative to maintain consistent and comprehensive reporting on the measures being taken and the progress being made in eradication of child labour. To facilitate this process, a standardized Child Labour Annual Reporting Template for the year 2025 has been prepared and validated by the Child Labour, Social Protection and Labour Inspections sub-committee of the National Steering Committee on Child Labour.
The Office of the Head of Local Government Service (OHLGS) on behalf of the Child Labour Unit (CLU) is requesting all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) to complete the above-mentioned Child Labour Data Template for the period January – December 2025 (which is available below for download as well as the 2024 Annual Report).
All Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) are kindly requested to inform their respective MMDAs to notify officers responsible for child labour to download the excel template and ensure that they complete all applicable tabs within the template.
Please submit the completed templates to OHLGS via email (ohlgs@lgs.gov.gh) and copy albert.amoah@lgs.gov.gh and jonathan.abban-baidoo@lgs.gov.gh. The deadline for submission is Friday, 13th February 2026. Timely submission will enable the office to compile and forward the information to the CLU within the required timeframe.
