OHLGS – Wednesday July 18, 2018: Representatives of the Human Resource Practitioners of the Local Government Service of Ghana (HRPLGS-G) paid a courtesy call on the Acting Chief Director, Mr. James Oppong-Mensah of the Office of the Head of Local Government Service (OHLGS) following the retirement of the Chief Director, Mr. Joseph M. Dasanah.
The leader of the delegation Mr. Francis Atta-Woode, a Human Resource Manager at Komenda-Edina-Aguafo-Abirem (KEEA) Municipal Assembly said, Mr Oppong-Mensah’s appointment ignited ecstasy among the entire HR fraternity. He pledged the support of the entire Human Resource fraternity in making Mr. Oppong Mensah’s tenure a huge success.
Mr. Oppong-Mensah expressed gratitude to the Local Government Service Council (LGSC) and the Head of Service for the confidence reposed in him. He expressed his determination to harness his expertise to support the Head of Service realize his vision for the Service. He urged the HR Managers to discharge their roles dutifully to enable the Service achieve its mandate.
Present at the meeting was the Director of Internal Audit at the OHLGS, Mr. Thomas A. Allotey.
