OHLGS: Wednesday, September 25, 2024: The Japanese Development Service (JDS) has introduced application portal for admission and scholarship into the Japanese Graduate School (JGS) to the staff of the Local Government Service (LGS) on Human Resources Development for the 2025 academic year.
This came light when officials from JDS engaged the staff of the Office of the Head of the Local Government Service. The initiative forms part of efforts of the Japanese Government to provide funding for the development of organizational human capacity in Ghana needed for the formulation and implementation of social and economic policies for the development of the country.
A Deputy Director at the OHLGS, Mr. Abdul Jamil Issaka, on behalf of the Head of Service and Management, expressed gratitude to the JDS team for their continuous support and collaboration with the Service in ensuring the professional development of staff of LGS.
He encouraged staff to make the most out of the scholarship opportunities to enhance their professional career in the Service and expressed believe that staff would benefit from the JDS programme.
