Dr. Nana Ato Arthur, Acting Chief Director & Co-ordinating Directors and staff of the Local Government Service joined hundreds of mourners at a burial and memorial service at the Accra Ridge Church to pay their last respect to the mortal remains of the late Moira Nancy Nyadenu Ewa, former Co-ordinating Director (MCD) of the Ga North Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region.
The late Moira Ewa joined the Ghana Public Service in the year 1997 as an Administrative Officer. She rose through the ranks and worked in several Assemblies including the Accra Metropolitan, Ga West and Ga South Municipal Assemblies. Moira became first the Co-ordinating Director of the La-Dade-kotopon Municipal Assembly when it was established. She was later posted to the Ledzokuku-Krowor Municipal Assembly and then to the Adentan Municipal Assembly during which period she attained the post of a substantive Co-ordinating Director. Moira’s good management and leadership skills won her several accolades including that of the Best Public Servant by the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) in 2015.
The Ghana Public Service and the Local Government Service in particular would forever cherish the fond memories and dexterity of Madam Moira Ewa.
