OHLGS- Thursday August 1, 2019: The Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) held a brief send-off ceremony in appreciation of thirteen (13) 2018/2019 national service personnel and six (6) interns who successfully served at the OHLGS for a period of time.
The service personnel shared their experiences and challenges during their stay at the OHLGS. They made suggestions for management’s consideration in the handling of other national service personnel in the future. Mr. Kenneth Addo, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues thanked the Head of Service and Management of the OHLGS for the great training they gave them.
Souvenirs and tokens were presented to the national service personnel and interns; who also gave a memento to the Acting Chief Director, Mr. James Oppong-Mensah on behalf of the OHLGS to reciprocate the kind gesture and warm reception accorded them.
The Head of Service, Dr. Nana Ato Arthur commended the national service personnel and interns for their dedication to duty and hard work; and urged them to work even harder to enhance their work experience in preparation for the job market.
Directors and senior staff of the OHLGS present gave the service personnel and interns pieces of advice and wished them well in their future endeavours.
