Accra-Tuesday March 29, 2022: The Management of the Office of the Head of the Local Government Service (OHLGS) led by the Head of Service Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur inspected progress of works on its new office block under construction. With funding from the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), the project is expected to be completed in mid-June 2022.
The multi-storey office block comprises of offices, auditorium, board room, a library for records and a roof terrace with a kitchenette and a general area.
According to the project consultant, work done on the office block is 75% complete , with finishes, external works, mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) fixes and furnishing works yet to be done. He expressed appreciation to the Head of Service and his team for their supports and guidance and entreated them to continue in the same spirit till the facility is successfully delivered. He was optimistic the project would be completed by mid-June, 2022.
The Head of Service, Ing. Dr. Nana Ato Arthur expressed satisfaction with the progress made and quality of work done and urged the contractor and consultant to work within the expected time-frame in order to deliver the project as planned.
